How it works

Oxytetracycline is primarily bacteriostatic and is thought to exert its antimicrobial effect by the inhibition of protein synthesis. Oxytetracycline is active against a wide range of gram-negative and gram-positive organisms. Polymyxin B is an antibiotic that disrupts the outer cell membrane of Gram negative bacteria, binds and neutralizes lipopolysaccharide, and inhibits respiration of Gram-negative bacterial cells .

Usage And Safety

Dosage

Adults & Children : Apply two or more times daily . OR As directed by your physician .

Side Effects

Immune System Disorders: Hypersensitivity ; Nervous System Disorders: Burning Sensation ; Eye Disorders: Lacrimination increased ; Skin & Subcutaneous Tissue Disorders: Dermatitis contact ; General Disorders and Administration Site Conditions: Pain, Sensation of foreign body .
